EU wants to reduce CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030

The European Union now has its first Climate protection law in place. The new law is a commitment to reduce CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030 and to reach climate neutrally by 2050. This makes them the only party at the climate summit tomorrow to have a law in place which sets a concrete target for the reduction of CO2 emissions.
