Missile from Syria strikes near Israeli nuclear facility

A misguided Syrian missile exploded close to a nuclear reactor near Dimona, according to the Israeli army. The country’s armed forces responded with retaliatory strikes.

Air raid sirens could be heard near the Israeli nuclear research facility, which is located not far from the town of Dimona in the Negev desert, indicating a possible attack. Residents from several parts of Israel reported hearing explosions.

The situation between Israel and Iran is currently extremely tense.
