The Conflict between Israel and Palestina is getting out of Control

The Gaza-Israel conflict escalates once again after an Incident at a religious site on Sunday. On Tuesday, Hamas initiated a huge continuous misles attack on Israel. The Israelian missile defense system mostly stopped them. The missile strikes continued till Thursday night. Israel responded with multiple hourlong airstrikes at 350 “strategical” targets in Gaza-City, killing dozens, including a High ranking official of Hamas. Some groups of Arabs and Jews have begun attacking lone members of the opposite side.

The Israeli government does not intend to deescalate. They insist on Hamas to surrender. Hamas is claiming to be the only protector of the Palestinian people, most likely trying to gain political ground after the President of the West Bank canceled the Election. Meanwhile, a radical Jewish settler party is claiming the ownership of buildings in Jerusalem that belong to Palestinians because they had been in Jewish ownership before the founding of Israel.

The US government is reassuring Israel of their support and is urging for a ceasefire. The EU, Egypt, and Qatar call for direct talks and calm, but Israel and Hamas are both unwilling to deescalate.
